Officedesk Posture


FOCUS

  • Realignment of body on chair

  • Alignment of lower back curve


BENEFITS

  • Aligning into this posture helps in body correction.

  • It reduces muscular fatigue and degenerative joints/disc problems.

  • Increases productivity of work during the office hours.


SAFETY MEASURES

  • To reduce eye strain, keep the top of the screen at eye level to minimize eye fatigue.


METHOD

1. & 2. Wrong Posture to be avoided.

3. Right posture - In Officedesk posture, adjust the height of the chair so that:

  • Feet are flat on the floor.

  • Knees are at the level of pelvis or hips.

  • Lower back curve is aligned to the lower end of the seat.

  • Mid and lower back are aligned to the seat.

  • Middle and upper back straightens up.

  • Elbow, forearms and palms are to be placed on either handle of the chair.


DURATION

Align into this posture once in every hour.
